Human Trafficking – the buying and selling of human beings, an unbelievable social evil, is here in the United States and many people are at risk for being trafficked. This course is part of a four part series, and examines different types of human trafficking, risk factors for being trafficked, and resources that can help people victimized by traffickers.

Purpose

The purpose of this course is review the physical health consequences and care associated with human trafficking.

Learning Objectives

  1. Review physical health risks of human trafficking
  2. List physical health consequences of human trafficking
  3. Review medical services for trafficked persons

Criteria for Successful Completion

To receive continuing education credit for this program, you must complete the entire course, including registration, viewing the video program, taking the post-test and obtaining a score of at least 70% or better, and completing the program evaluation. If you do not score a 70% or better, you may take the exam again as many times as necessary to receive a passing score. When a score of 70% or better is achieved, you will be able to move forward to the evaluation and receive your certificate online.
